Dear reader, if you have been reading my blog posts about my Semester in Britain, thank you! I am now back home in the good old U.S.A. I still have many stories to share, so I plan to finish blogging this summer. The last month in England was quite hectic, and I didn’t have as much time as I would have liked to keep up with blogging. So I still have plenty to reflect upon. It’s sort of a strange experience being back in the U.S. But at the same time, I feel like my life was just on pause (a very action-packed pause), and I’ve returned to my normal life. Since Friday (when I got back) I’ve already washed our vehicles with my siblings, gone to by summer flowers and plants for our gardens, unpacked everything, began on my summer reading list, gone to church, had a steak dinner on the grill, enjoyed a beer with my brother, cleaned my rabbits’ hutch, made sun tea, and almost finished labeling and tagging all my photos in iPhoto. My American life has come back in full force. I love it, but at the same time it’s going to take a while for me to process the past four months and what the heck just happened in my life. … In short, keep looking out for posts. The semester may be over, but my stories never are. Thanks for all your support and prayers.
